The inauguration of SENAI CIMATEC AEROSPACE – BAHIA!
The STARS: President of the Federative Republic of Brazil – Mr. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. Minister of Defence – Minister José Mucio. Minister of Science and Technology – Minister Luciana Santos. Commander of the Air Force – Air Lieutenant Brigadier Marcelo Damasceno. Minister of the Civil House – Minister Rui Costa. Governor of the State of Bahia – Mr. Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza. Rector of Cimatec – Mr. Leone Andrade. President of the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB/MCTI) – Mr. Marco Antonio Chamon.
This was the most special event we have witnessed to date in Bahia. At Cimatec Aerospacial, we will install the Control Centre for our constellation of 216 earth observation satellites. One of our 6 ground station antennas will be installed at Cimatec Park. At Cimatec Salvador, our Data Centre will be installed. Alya Space will provide impact and boost, with its project, to the entire aerospace ecosystem in Bahia. And with all this support from GALAXY, the sky is not the limit: it’s only the first step!
